Fluid Pro can set up a custom solution to pretreat industrial wastewater and process sludge in order to decrease disposal costs and maximize compliance with State and Federal Pretreatment Programs.
There are Federal and State Pretreatment Programs which allow EPA, states, and municipal governments authority to control the discharge of industrial waste water into municipal Wastwater Treatment Plants (WWTPs) or Publicly Ownded Treatment Works (POTWs).
Pretreatment is the process of removing pollutants from industrial waste water before it is discharged into any WWTP or POTW controlled sewer system. Pollutants are most commonly solids, but may also pertain to certain types of chemicals.
Fluid Pro can provide a custom built solution for proper removal of pollutants from wastewater. Custom dewatering technologies and equipment allow Fluid Pro to build systems that meet, and commonly exceed the Pretreatment Programs for each state.
We take an in-depth look at the wastewater, current pretreatment systems, and Pretreatment Program requirements in order to create the best possible solution while avoiding high financial impacts.
Fluid Pro can process sludge to remove as much water as possible resulting in dryer cuttings for disposal, thus decreasing overall disposal fees.
Dewatering can also be performed on most wastewater systems, which can alleviate the costs of extra equipment for straining and filtering wastewater before it is returned to the sewer system. In some cases dewatering can also allow for the recycling of wastewater which removes the need to return it to a sewer system.
